Apply for a Digestive Disease Research Foundation Award

The Digestive Disease Research Foundation accepts applications for grant awards from either talented medical students or physician scientists mentors in clinical practice with a demonstrated commitment to original active research.

DDRF Award Process

DDRF awards grants directly to medical students in their 2nd or 3rd year. Grants are generally for a 9-12 month period with the understanding that the student’s clinical research project will be a full-time commitment under close mentorship by a senior physician scientist. However, we will consider alternate schedules under certain circumstances.
